Following the success of their debut production of La Bohème, Opera Bohemia, Scotland’s dynamic new opera company, returns with Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor.

Walter Scott’s tragic love story, set in a troubled Scotland, is reinvented in this exciting new production. The virtuosic soprano, Suzanne Shakespeare, returns to Opera Bohemia, following performances as Queen of the Night at the Sydney Opera house.

She leads a cast of up and coming professional singers in a work full of vocal fireworks and sublime melodies. An emotional roller-coaster of secret love, family feuds, madness and heartache, this is an exciting performance for opera lovers, and the perfect introduction for first time opera-goers.
